Are there different types of verandahs?

There are 3 types of verandahs:

  • The standard verandah has clear plexi-glass below the railing, enabling you to see a full view of the horizon while seated.
  • A second type of verandah has a solid white wall; most of these are on the aft side of the ship
  • The nautical verandah has a large open-air porthole above the railing

Please note, verandahs may differ in size, and the view on some verandahs may be obstructed. Guests may choose to upgrade their room category to enjoy a more spacious verandah or an unobstructed view.

Can I sail if I am pregnant?

Women who have entered their 24th week of pregnancy as of their embarkation date or who will enter their 24th week of pregnancy during the cruise will be refused passage due to safety concerns.

Neither a doctor’s medical statement nor a waiver of liability will be accepted. In addition, Disney Cruise Line cannot be held responsible or liable for any complications relating to pregnancy at any stage.

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued a travel alert for travelers to specific countries in the Caribbean and Latin America due to the Zika virus, a mosquito related illness. While the most common symptoms are usually mild and include fever, rash, joint pain and pink eye, pregnant women should pay special attention to the travel alert and take necessary precaution to avoid mosquito bites. Additional information can be found under the Travelers Health section of the CDC website at http://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/notices.

How will the TCM Classic Cruise onboard the Disney Fantasy be different from a traditional Disney Cruise Line experience?

This is the TCM Classic Cruise with all of the activities (film screenings, panel discussions, trivia, dancing, music and themed activities) that you've come to expect on a TCM Classic Cruise. We have chosen the Disney Fantasy as our host ship as Disney Cruise Line is world-renowned for their hospitality, accommodations, service and styling. Plus, the ship’s venues, technical equipment and technical crew are among the best available for the type of experience that TCM provides.

Most Disney themed entertainment will be suspended for the TCM Cruise.
